Today's freebie is much requested clothes labels, to print and attach to your baskets, drawers and containers.

A set of 30 clothes icons plus a few accessories across 2 pages, are available in A4 and US Letter size. Each square is 4cm (just over 1.5 inches) and then there is an outer border of 4.8cm around each one, as a guide for when you are cutting them up.

I printed mine off, cut them up and then laminated and cut them up again, rounding the corners with scissors. We have stuck ours to baskets using sticky foam / velcro pads.

Enjoy!

Kitchen set up at age 3.5

An update of our kitchen space for my son at age 3.5. About half of our living room space has been set up for my son to use. He still cooks with us in the kitchen but he can also use this kitchen setup to get his own cutlery, plates, etc.

I found the Ikea kitchen for free on Facebook Marketplace and added stick on tiles to the back (similar), plus covered the ‘hob’ with acrylic. The white metal shelves were also a Facebook Marketplace find.

Kitchen shelves:

- Childrens cutlery (Amazon - similar here) in thin white trays
- Mini drinking glasses (set from a charity shop)
- a set of small ceramic plates and bowls (Sainsbury’s)
- mini glass bowls (Asda)
- mini bamboo tray for tidying up his plates and cutlery when he is finished
- small rattan mirror to check his face after eating
- Our beloved @marulatreeuk Montessori apron is amazing and used every day

>> On the sides of the kitchen:
- command hooks on one side with a small washing up brush (Homesense) and a flannels with a curtain ring sewn on, to make it easy to put on the hook

- clear acrylic document holder (similar) on the other side, to hold his A4 placemat that I made and laminated

IKEA kitchen:

- IKEA water dispenser (similar)
- Foam soap dispenser (labels removed for a more simple style)
- little rope basket with single squares of tissue so he can help himself

Inside the cupboards:
- cheeky wipes, used to wipe all spills and food on his face
- folded flannels for taking out on trips with us, as cloth napkins / for hand washing (with a different animal motif sewn onto each one)
- more flannels, for floor washing
- cleaning basket (see my separate post all about this)
